Beaver Creek Lodge Wedding Transportation
We have driven to Beaver Creek Lodge around 40 times since 2022, mostly airport transfers and hotel runs for guests staying there, so the entrance on Avondale Lane is familiar ground. That matters for a wedding here, because at a hotel this size the transportation job is mostly about arrivals, not about moving a crowd between a church and a ballroom.
The Lodge is an Autograph Collection boutique property, all suites, in the middle of Beaver Creek Village at 26 Avondale Lane. Weddings use the Bohemian Gallery, which seats about 90 for a ceremony, takes 150 for cocktails and around 100 for a seated dinner. It is an indoor venue and it hosts year round, so snow on the wedding day is a photo opportunity rather than a problem.
The job here is airport runs
Picture 90 guests, with the ceremony and the dinner both in the Bohemian Gallery and most of the block sleeping upstairs. There is no ceremony to reception leg. What you need is to get 90 people from two airports to one hotel, in good order, over the two or three days before.
If 60 of them land at Denver, that is four or five Sprinter loads, grouped by arrival time so nobody sits at the curb for an hour waiting on a late flight. Guests into Eagle County Regional are about 30 minutes out and tend to go by SUV in twos and fours. The couple and immediate family usually get their own SUV regardless of which airport they use. We keep a Sprinter and an SUV in the plan for departure morning too, because checkout and early flights bunch up.
Avondale Lane sits behind the Village Road gate
Every vehicle reaching the Lodge comes up Village Road from the Avon roundabouts and stops at the guard post. The guard checks the vehicle against the event, so your planner needs our vehicle details ahead of the first arrival. We supply them without being asked. Past the gate it is a short climb to the hotel entrance, where our drivers unload, confirm the next pickup and clear the lane. The hotel does not publish guest parking, so ask your planner what to tell anyone who insists on driving.
Rehearsal dinners and welcome parties
With the block on property, the in valley moves are small. A rehearsal dinner in Avon is eight minutes down the hill; a welcome party in Vail Village is a 20 minute drive east. One or two Sprinters on a timed out and back cover a group this size. If a few guests overflow to an Avon hotel, a single van running up and down Village Road before the ceremony and again after dinner keeps them on the same clock as everyone else.
Our vehicles are Mercedes Sprinter vans for up to 14 and SUVs for smaller parties, all of them all wheel drive, which is what you want on Village Road in January. Tell us your dates, your headcount and how many are flying, then request an event quote. The wedding transportation page explains how we put a weekend together, and Denver Airport to Beaver Creek has the details for your Denver arrivals.
