Red Sky Ranch Wedding Transportation

A guest staying in Beaver Creek Village and attending a wedding at Red Sky Ranch passes through two gates in one afternoon. The first is the Beaver Creek gate on Village Road on the way out. The second is the Red Sky club gate on Bellyache Ridge on the way in. Both want to know who is in the vehicle and why, and that, more than distance, is what shapes transportation for this venue.

Red Sky Ranch is at 376 Red Sky Road in Wolcott, up Red Sky Road off US 6. It belongs to the Beaver Creek club run by Vail Resorts and appears on the resort's venue sheet as a summer only site: a covered terrace overlooking the golf course, up to 120 guests with a tent extension. There is no lodging at the club, so guests sleep in Beaver Creek, Vail, Avon or Edwards and ride up.

Two gates, one list

Because the venue is managed through the Beaver Creek wedding team, the same resort staff who put our vehicles on the Village Road list can put them on the Red Sky list. We ask your planner to have both done under the wedding name before the day, so a van with 14 of your guests is waved through at the ridge rather than held while someone makes a call. The drop at the terrace, the turnaround for a long van and where vehicles wait between runs come from that same resort team, and we confirm all three before assigning a vehicle.

Down the ridge in the dark

Red Sky Road is a ridge road. Going up in daylight is scenic. Coming down after the reception is a mountain descent in the dark with a van full of people who have been celebrating, which is why we want them in a chauffeured Mercedes Sprinter or SUV with all wheel drive and not behind their own wheel. Published drive times to the ridge do not exist, so we work them out with your planner when we quote.

At 120 guests the arithmetic is simple. Three Sprinters, each making two timed runs out of the hotel, put everyone on the terrace with three vehicles through the club gate instead of 40 cars. For the return the fleet stages at the club before the last song and runs down to the hotels, holding the last van for the final departure so nobody is left on the ridge.

To get the gates, the ridge and the hotel timing worked out with your planner, request an event quote and include your date and hotels. Our wedding transportation page covers the shuttle side, and guests arriving at Eagle use the Eagle County Airport to Beaver Creek lane.
