Tivoli Lodge Wedding Transportation
Tivoli Lodge is a boutique hotel at 386 Hanson Ranch Road, tucked against Golden Peak on the quiet side of Vail Village. The rooms are small on purpose. The Grand Lobby Alcove takes 15, the Wedel Conference Room 48, the Penthouse Hospitality Suite 60, and the back lawn 60, though the listing stretches that to 150 outdoors in the warm months. Almost everyone who gets married here is staying in the building.
So this is not a fleet job. It is one Sprinter, or one SUV, that turns up when it says it will, knows which street to use, and covers the airport.
Hanson Ranch Road, not the pedestrian village
Most Vail Village hotels sit behind the pedestrian core and have to be approached from a specific drop lane. Tivoli does not. Hanson Ranch Road comes off Vail Valley Drive and runs straight to the hotel, so a driver can pull up to the entrance without threading through the village at all. The hotel has valet and underground parking for guests who drive themselves, but when we are running a shuttle we unload and leave rather than park a 14 passenger van at the door.
We have been to Tivoli a couple dozen times since 2022, mostly airport transfers for hotel guests, so the turn in from Vail Valley Drive is familiar. The one thing worth knowing about the location is Golden Peak. In ski season the base area next door fills up first thing in the morning and again when the lifts close, and a pickup set for 4pm in February will meet that. We shift it a little either way.
What a small wedding here actually needs
Take a 50 guest lawn ceremony in August with 20 guests at other hotels in the village or Lionshead. One Sprinter on a short loop brings them in two rounds and takes them home the same way. The ride is about two minutes, so the loop is really just a matter of timing the departures.
A dinner of 15 in the Alcove is an SUV. If the couple is marrying at the Vail Interfaith Chapel on Vail Road and hosting the meal at Tivoli, one Sprinter shuttling between the two moves 48 people in four rounds. Add a second van and it is two.
Out of town guests arriving through Eagle County are about 42 minutes away by road; Beaver Creek is about 22 and Avon about 17 if anyone is staying down valley. Those rides end at the hotel entrance on Hanson Ranch Road, in all wheel drive vehicles in winter, which matters more on the frontage roads than on the hotel's own street.
Tivoli books year round and is busiest in February, March, July, August and September. Give us the date, the headcount and where the non hotel guests are sleeping and we will keep the plan as small as the wedding. The simplest way to start is to request an event quote, and the wedding transportation page sets out how a loop is priced. Guests flying into Eagle County can read the Eagle County Airport to Vail page for the airport leg.
