Vista at Arrowhead Wedding Transportation

The Cresta Road gate

Everything about getting to Vista at Arrowhead starts at a gatehouse. Arrowhead is a private community on the Edwards side of Beaver Creek, and the only way in is off US 6 through the gate on Cresta Road, where every vehicle checks in. From there it is a short climb to the Country Club of the Rockies clubhouse at 676 Sawatch Drive.

For a wedding that means two things. Your guests who drive themselves will each stop at the gate, explain who they are, and then face valet or paid public parking at the club. Guests who arrive with us come through in a few vans that the gatehouse is already expecting, because we give them the event and our vehicles ahead of the day. One stop, no explaining, and nobody hunting for a space on Sawatch Drive.

What the clubhouse holds

Vista is the clubhouse restaurant and banquet room with a wraparound terrace and a footbridge. Ceremonies go to 120, indoors or out on the terrace in summer. Receptions are indoors only and go to 200. It hosts year round, so a January wedding here is a real possibility, and the community roads after dark in January are the kind where an all wheel drive Sprinter with a driver who does this regularly earns its place.

Two gated resorts, one guest list

Wedding guests here tend to be split between Arrowhead Village lodging, Beaver Creek, and the hotels a few minutes west in Edwards. Beaver Creek Village is about a 12 minute ride, and it is gated as well, at the bottom of Village Road on the Avon side. A van collecting guests from a Beaver Creek hotel and delivering them to Vista passes a guard at each end, so we put both gatehouses on notice for the same event.

For a 150 guest reception with a Beaver Creek room block, three Sprinters leaving the hotel at two set times half an hour apart cover the arrival comfortably on a ride that short. If some of the block is in Edwards, a fourth vehicle working that side keeps both groups on the same clock. Avon is about 10 minutes, Vail Village about 25.

At the close we run the clubhouse loop from an hour before the end so people leave as they are ready, with everything back at the door for the final call. An SUV kept aside for the couple means they are never waiting on a van load. Eagle County Regional is about 25 minutes from the gate, close enough that airport guests sometimes land the morning of the wedding.

Send us the date, the count and which gate your guests are behind, and we will build the check in and hotel schedule around it. Use the form to request an event quote when you are ready.
