Westin Riverfront Wedding Transportation
We have pulled into the Westin Riverfront more than 60 times since 2022. Almost all of those were airport transfers for hotel guests, in and out of both Denver and Eagle County, which is a long way of saying our drivers know Riverfront Lane well and the porte cochere at the end of it better than most.
Riverfront Lane ends at the porte cochere
The hotel is at 126 Riverfront Lane in Avon, on the Eagle River, with the Riverfront Express Gondola to Beaver Creek loading right at the building. Coming off Interstate 70 at the Avon exit you follow Avon Road through the roundabouts toward Benchmark and turn onto Riverfront Lane, which runs out at the hotel entrance. The porte cochere takes a full size vehicle, so a Sprinter loads at the door and loops straight back to Avon Road without any shuffling. There is on site parking for anyone who drives. The roads are flat and plowed in winter; the roundabouts are where it gets slick, and that is the stretch where all wheel drive pays for itself.
The wedding day needs no vans; the weekend does
The Westin has more than 20,000 square feet of event space. The Riverside Ballroom seats 250, the Gondola Ballroom 140, and the Riverside Terrace and Event Lawn 140, with a Wedding Lawn over the river and an indoor fallback if the weather turns. Listings put weddings at 200 to 220 guests, one wedding a day, year round, planner required. Guests stay in the hotel. On the day itself the ceremony and the reception are a short walk apart on the same property and nobody needs us.
What needs transport is everything around the day.
- A rehearsal dinner in Beaver Creek Village for 60: two Sprinters leaving the porte cochere at set times. Beaver Creek is about 10 minutes up the hill, behind a gate at the foot of Village Road where the guard checks commercial vehicles against a list, so your event and our vans need to be on that list before the first departure. We drop at the village drop zone, hold both vans for the return, and run a sweep half an hour after the first ride home.
- A welcome party in Vail Village for 150: about 15 minutes each way, three Sprinters in continuous rotation, starting 45 minutes before the doors open and running until 90 minutes after they close.
- Wedding day: one SUV on call for the couple, photos and anything that comes up.
Both airports, both directions
Eagle County Regional is about 27 minutes away, and the Denver run comes down the hill through Vail and into Avon the same way. Because the hotel is on both our Beaver Creek lanes, airport legs here are routine for us rather than a special arrangement. We bring arriving guests to the porte cochere and collect departing ones from the same spot, and the planner the hotel requires becomes our single contact for the timeline across the whole weekend.
Give us the guest count, which nights involve a venue away from the hotel and when flights land, and we will lay out the weekend. Send that through when you request an event quote, and read our wedding transportation page for the way we price multi night work. Guests coming through Denver should look at Denver Airport to Beaver Creek, which passes right through Avon.
