The Charter at Beaver Creek Wedding Transportation

The Charter sits at 120 Offerson Road, a quarter mile from the Beaver Creek Village core and inside the resort gate. It is a condo hotel with more than 150 units, a wedding deck, a terrace and a restaurant, and it hosts weddings in the 100 to 150 range, up to 200 if the party spreads across its spaces. Weddings run in every season.

That quarter mile is the detail to plan around. The Charter is close enough to the village that nobody thinks about rides until the reception is over, and far enough that a walk back in heels, in the dark, in February, is not something most guests want to do.

Offerson Road is a short climb past the gate

Every vehicle coming up from Avon meets the guard station at the bottom of Village Road. Our drivers give the party name at the window, which means your planner's vehicle list has to reach the resort before the first run of the weekend, not the morning of. Once past the gate it is a short climb to the Offerson Road loop and the hotel entrance. Reviewers mention using the parking garage, so guests who do drive have a place to put the car.

The loop is easy for a 14 passenger Sprinter. We pull in, unload at the door and move off rather than sitting in the loop, because the entrance also serves hotel traffic.

We have had the Charter as a pickup or drop on about 30 bookings since 2022, nearly all of them airport transfers for people staying in the units, so the gate routine and the Offerson loop are familiar ground for our drivers.

Where the rides actually are

With 150 plus units on site, the bulk of a wedding block sleeps at the Charter. So the transportation is not a hotel to venue shuttle. It is three other things.

  • Airport days. Denver is the long leg; Eagle County Airport is about 30 minutes away. We group arrivals by flight bank and send chauffeured Sprinters for the big waves and SUVs for couples and families on odd schedules. Our whole fleet is all wheel drive, and Village Road in winter is where that counts.
  • Chapel ceremonies. The Beaver Creek Chapel on Elk Track Road is a regular pairing with a Charter reception. Charter reviewers rode the free village shuttle to get there. For a wedding, one van on a short loop between the chapel and the Charter covers grandparents and anyone who should not make the walk.
  • Dinners off property. A rehearsal dinner in Avon is about 8 minutes down the hill, Vail Village about 20. One timed departure out and one timed return is usually enough for a group that size.

The last ride of the night

Guests who are not staying at the Charter, usually a handful in other Beaver Creek hotels or down in Avon, need a way home after the reception. We keep one vehicle on the property for the final hour and run it as rounds until the planner says the room is clear. Late runs back out through the gate are no trouble once the vehicle is on the resort's list.

Send us the dates, the headcount and how many of the block are staying off property and we will put a plan together. The quickest way to start is to request an event quote; our wedding transportation page describes the planner side of things, and arriving guests are covered on our Denver Airport to Beaver Creek page.
