Manor Vail Lodge Wedding Transportation

Manor Vail is one of the few Vail wedding venues where most of the guests are already asleep upstairs. It is a resort condominium lodge at 595 Vail Valley Drive at Golden Peak, just east of Vail Village, with The Fitz restaurant, a deck, a garden, a wildflower meadow and a ballroom. The practical range is 85 to 120 guests, and with 77 reviews on The Knot it is among the busiest wedding properties in town.

That changes what transportation is for. There is usually no big ceremony shuttle. The work is the handful of guests who could not get a room on property, the ceremony leg if it happens somewhere else, and the airport.

A public road, which in Vail is a luxury

Vail Valley Drive is an ordinary public street, not a pedestrian zone, and the hotel has a covered drop at the entrance. Our drivers pull under the cover, unload, and move off. We have been in and out of that entrance more than a dozen times since 2022 on hotel runs, and it is one of the easier drops in the village. The lodge does not publish parking details, so we plan on dropping and looping rather than leaving a vehicle at the door.

The one thing to time around is Golden Peak next door. It is the ski school base, and in winter the stretch of Vail Valley Drive by the lift fills up at the start and the end of the ski day. A 3:30 pickup in February goes slower than a 3:30 pickup in July. We schedule around it.

Vail Village is three minutes away

Guests who overflow into Vail Village or Lionshead are a short ride. One Sprinter on a tight loop brings 40 of them to the covered drop in two or three rounds. Tivoli Lodge is at the same Golden Peak end of the village, close enough that its guests often walk. Avon is about 17 minutes and Beaver Creek about 22, and a block down valley gets its own van on timed departures each way. Eagle County Airport is about 42 minutes, and airport runs from either Denver or Eagle end at the same covered drop.

If the ceremony is at a chapel in the village and the reception is at Manor Vail, two vans looping between the two clear the chapel fast, because everyone leaves a ceremony at the same minute.

Events end at 11pm

Manor Vail hosts year round and events run between 7am and 11pm, so the last pickup is a known quantity. We stage for the close and loop the covered drop back to whichever hotels have guests. Our vehicles are Mercedes Sprinter vans and SUVs, driven by our own chauffeurs and kept private to your group, all of them all wheel drive for the winter months.

The quickest way to give us the head count, where the overflow is sleeping, the ceremony site and the end time is to request an event quote. Our wedding transportation page explains the rest, and the Denver Airport to Vail lane covers guests coming through Denver.
