The Osprey at Beaver Creek Wedding Transportation
Elk Track Road is a short street at the base of the slopes in Beaver Creek Village, and on an Osprey wedding day both ends of it belong to you. The Osprey at Beaver Creek sits at 10 Elk Track Road beside the Strawberry Park lift. The Beaver Creek Chapel is at number 33, a few doors up. The resort's wedding format pairs a chapel ceremony with a reception back at the lodge, so the whole day happens on one street, and our drivers spend it working that street from both directions.
The Osprey is a buyout, so it is mostly an airport job
The lodge has 45 rooms plus two 2 bedroom condos, and wedding weekends take the whole thing. That means the guest list is roughly the size of the building, the core group all sleeps in one place, and nearly all of them flew in. The transportation that matters is Thursday and Friday arrivals from Denver and Eagle, not a ceremony shuttle.
Eighty guests landing at Denver is six Sprinter loads, grouped by flight bank, with SUVs for the couples and families coming into Eagle County, which is about 30 minutes away. Each of those vehicles comes up Village Road, through the gate, and into Elk Track Road. We have made about a dozen trips to the Osprey since 2022, most of them exactly that kind of run.
What the gate means for a buyout group
The Beaver Creek gate sits at the top of Village Road where it leaves the Avon roundabouts. The guard matches each commercial vehicle to an expected guest and an expected event, so before the first arrival your planner gets our vehicles onto the resort's list for the weekend under the wedding name. For a buyout that is simpler than most Beaver Creek weddings: one event, one property, one list. The climb from the gate to Elk Track Road is short. In winter it is plowed, but it is a hill, and all wheel drive is not optional on it.
Ceremony to reception is a walk
The chapel and the lodge are close enough that guests stroll between them. Indoors the Osprey takes 64 for a ceremony and 56 for dinner; outdoors both go to 150. We keep one Sprinter on Elk Track Road during the changeover for grandparents and the wedding party, and because the street is short and shared with the chapel, that van stages off the street rather than sitting at the curb.
Guests beyond the 45 rooms usually land in another Beaver Creek Village hotel, which is a walk, or in Avon, about 8 minutes down the hill. Avon guests get two Sprinters on a loop before the ceremony and a timed run home late. Vail Village is about 20 minutes if anyone ends up there. Add a timed out and back for the rehearsal dinner and the weekend is done. Every ride is in a private Mercedes Sprinter van or SUV with a chauffeur, all wheel drive, never pooled with another group.
If you have the Osprey for the weekend, send us the flight list and the head count and we will build it from the airports inward. To start, request an event quote, then read about our wedding transportation, and the arrivals themselves run on our Denver Airport to Beaver Creek route.
