Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Wedding Transportation

Six hundred seated. That is the number that sets a Park Hyatt wedding apart from everything else in Beaver Creek. The Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa at 136 East Thomas Place, ski in and ski out in the village core, holds 700 for an indoor ceremony, 1,000 for cocktails and 600 for a seated reception across the Sawatch and Gore Range Halls, the Crooked Hearth on McCoy's Patio and the Deck, Lawn and Terrace outdoors. Nowhere else inside the gate comes close.

A wedding anywhere near that size is not a shuttle problem. It is an airport problem that lasts two days.

Thursday and Friday are the real work

With most guests sleeping at the hotel, the ceremony, cocktails and dinner are all a walk. What has to be organized is how 200 or 300 people get from a jet bridge in Denver to a porte cochere in Beaver Creek. We have driven to the Park Hyatt more than 70 times since 2022, nearly all of it airport transfers for hotel guests, so this is the run our drivers know best at this property.

A 200 guest wedding with half the group flying into Denver is seven or more Sprinter loads spread across Thursday and Friday, 14 passengers and their luggage per van, grouped by flight bank so nobody waits at baggage claim for a van that left an hour ago. Smaller parties landing at Eagle County, about 30 minutes away, ride in SUVs. The rehearsal dinner, if it is elsewhere in the valley, is a timed out and back with the same vehicles.

The valet lane on East Thomas Place

The hotel entrance is a valet porte cochere and the valet team runs it. Our drivers pull in, unload, and clear so the lane keeps turning. On a loop the van circles rather than idling at the curb. It is a short climb from the gate to the porte cochere, steep in places, plowed in winter and still a reason we only run all wheel drive vehicles.

Getting there means Village Road, which leaves the Avon roundabouts and rises to the Beaver Creek gate. The guard checks each commercial vehicle against a guest and an event, and with a wedding this size the resort will have a long list, so your planner should get our vehicles onto it well before the weekend rather than the day of. If anyone in your group is driving themselves, parking and valet arrangements are the hotel's to confirm, not ours.

Guests sleeping outside the gate

At 300 guests and up, the block spills out of the Park Hyatt into other village hotels, which are a walk, and down into Avon, which is not. Sixty guests in Avon is two Sprinters looping from the Avon hotels up to the porte cochere over a 45 minute arrival window, about 8 minutes each way, then a timed late departure after the last dance. Vail Village is about 20 minutes if the block reaches that far.

Ceremonies at the Beaver Creek Chapel often come back to the Park Hyatt for the reception. Both are inside the gate and close together, so that move is a short walk or a quick lift for anyone who needs it. Everything we run is a chauffeured Mercedes Sprinter van or SUV, private to your group.

Tell us the head count and how many are flying, and we will size the airport operation first and the village loop second. To start, request an event quote. Our wedding transportation page explains the shuttle side, and the arrivals run on our Denver Airport to Beaver Creek route.
