Splendido at the Chateau Wedding Transportation
The ride from the Beaver Creek Village hotels to Splendido at the Chateau takes about two minutes. Couples book us for it anyway, and the reason is the second half of the evening. Splendido is the fine dining restaurant at 17 Chateau Lane, in the Chateau residences above the village, and the lane climbs. After a long rehearsal dinner with wine, a dark downhill walk in dress shoes is not what anyone wants, and in winter it is not something we would suggest.
Inside the gate, then up Chateau Lane
The restaurant is inside the Beaver Creek gate, so our vehicles clear the Village Road gatehouse on your event name like any other commercial vehicle, then continue through the village and up Chateau Lane to the restaurant. The restaurant includes parking with the event, but that helps guests who drove themselves, not the ones who flew into Eagle County and are staying at a hotel below. We have only made a handful of runs to the Chateau so far, all since 2023, so we treat the exact drop point as something we check with your planner rather than assume.
Sizing a dinner, not a wedding
Splendido hosts receptions, rehearsal dinners and elopements, indoors and on an uncovered outdoor space, year round, and most of what it books are rehearsal dinners. Capacity is not published, so your planner's headcount is what we size from. For 40 guests spread across the village hotels, one 14 passenger Mercedes Sprinter cycling between the hotels and the lane has everyone seated inside half an hour, then runs the same circuit in reverse until the room is empty. A dozen people for an elopement dinner fit one SUV or one van on a set pickup and a set return. Everything we send up the lane is all wheel drive, which matters here in January far more than in July.
A reception here after a Beaver Creek Chapel ceremony is a short hop from Elk Track Road, and one timed departure after the recessional brings the group up together. Avon is about 9 minutes down the hill for overflow guests, and Eagle County Airport is about half an hour.
Book the return as a loop rather than a single time, because rehearsal dinners rarely end when the invitation says.
