Antlers at Vail Wedding Transportation

Four properties share one drivable approach in Lionshead. West Lionshead Circle comes off the South Frontage Road and serves The Arrabelle, The Hythe, Lion Square Lodge and Antlers at Vail, and on a Saturday in July all four may have something going on. Antlers is a condominium hotel on West Lionshead Place with event rooms for weddings up to about 120, and its entrance off the circle is where we load and unload.

A loading point, not a parking spot

West Lionshead Place itself sits inside the pedestrian mall, so no shuttle goes to the door. The hotel entrance off the circle is a place to stop for two minutes, and our drivers treat it that way: pull in, load, pull out, and wait somewhere off the circle until the next run is due. We have made this stop about a dozen times since 2022, mostly airport transfers for people staying in the building, so the approach and where to hold between runs are familiar.

Antlers does not publish parking details for wedding guests. Ask your planner; the likely answer for anyone who drives in is the Lionshead parking structure.

What a wedding this size actually needs

Most Antlers guests stay in the building, which means the ceremony and reception generate almost no vehicle movement. The work is around the edges.

  • Guests in Vail Village hotels are four minutes away. One Sprinter on two scheduled departures before the ceremony, with a third sweep for stragglers, covers 30 or 40 people. The same van comes back after the reception and runs to Vail Village for about an hour.
  • Guests in Avon or Beaver Creek are 13 and 18 minutes out and ride on the same van with earlier departure times, or a second van if the numbers justify it.
  • Eagle County Regional is about 38 minutes from the circle. Arrivals from there and from Denver go straight to the hotel entrance, with an SUV for the couple or the parents when a 14 seat van is more than the party needs.

The Sprinters and SUVs we put on the circle have all wheel drive, which is relevant here because the circle holds snow and ice through the winter and the turn into the entrance is tight when it does.

Season and indoor or outdoor options are not published for Antlers weddings. If the ceremony is going up the mountain, the Eagle Bahn Gondola is a short walk through Lionshead and the resort handles the ride up; we handle everything on the ground.

Give us the headcount outside the hotel and the ceremony time and we will quote the right number of vehicles, which for Antlers is often one. To start, request an event quote, or see how we run a full weekend on our wedding transportation page. Guests flying into EGE arrive on the Eagle County Airport to Vail lane.
