Four Seasons Resort Vail Wedding Transportation
One Vail Road is the first building you reach after the main Vail roundabout, and that location does most of the work. The Four Seasons sits at the corner of Vail Road and the South Frontage Road, in front of the point where the village goes pedestrian, which makes it the simplest hotel drop in Vail Village. Weddings here run from 8 guests to 400, on a lawn facing the Gore Range, in the ballrooms, or on top of Vail Mountain, year round.
The valet lane at the roundabout
The entrance is a hotel staffed valet lane. It is built for arriving and departing, not for parking a shuttle, so a van pulls in, lets guests out and goes. When a driver needs to be back in ten minutes, the move is a lap of the roundabout and a return on cue instead of sitting in the lane with the hazards on.
Our drivers have done this roughly 70 times since 2022, almost all of it airport arrivals and departures for hotel guests, so the lane, the valet staff and the roundabout timing are familiar. In winter nothing about the approach changes; the roundabout gets slick and our Sprinters and SUVs are all wheel drive, which is the reason we bought them.
Everything on Vail Road is a walk
Vail Road runs south from the Four Seasons past The Sebastian, the Vail Interfaith Chapel and the Sonnenalp, all within a few minutes on foot. A chapel ceremony followed by a Four Seasons reception involves no vehicles at all. So does a guest list that is sleeping in the hotel, which at this property is the normal case.
The vehicles come in for the people who are not. Overflow lands in Lionshead, Cascade Village, Avon or Beaver Creek. Avon is about 15 minutes, Beaver Creek Village about 20. For 80 out of town guests across Avon and Beaver Creek, three Sprinters on announced departure times get everyone to the lawn in about an hour, two trips per van, with the drivers lapping the roundabout between loads. For the return we prefer a rolling loop from the valet lane over the final 90 minutes, because guests leave a reception in waves, not all at once.
When the ceremony is up the mountain
A Vail Mountain ceremony starts at a gondola base, and the resort owns everything above it. Our part is getting guests who are staying outside the village from their hotel to the base ahead of the load, and meeting the download afterward to bring them to the reception. Build that pickup with slack, because gondolas run on their own schedule.
Fly in guests land at Eagle County Regional, about 40 minutes out, or Denver, and ride straight to the valet lane. Because four wedding properties share one short street, we stagger your departure times so your group is not loading behind someone else's.
Give us the headcount, where the room blocks are and whether the ceremony is on the lawn, in the chapel or on the mountain, and we will match the fleet to it. The place to start is to request an event quote. Our wedding transportation page explains the day itself, and the Eagle County Airport to Vail lane covers arrivals.
