Saddleridge Wedding Shuttles
Nobody drives to Saddleridge on their own. The lodge sits on Beaver Creek Mountain near the Strawberry Park and Elkhorn area, and the resort does not publish a street address for it. Guest shuttles are part of the Beaver Creek wedding package, so the resort collects your group in Beaver Creek Village, takes them up to the aspen grove lawn, the vaulted dining room and the library, and brings them back down when dinner is over.
That leaves two jobs for an outside company, and they are the two we do: getting guests who are not sleeping in Beaver Creek Village to the resort's pickup point on time, and getting everyone to and from the airports.
The resort drives the last mile, we drive the rest
Saddleridge seats up to 120 in the dining room, with the library and lawn taking 40 seated or 70 standing, so this is a mid sized wedding and the village hotels can usually hold most of it. The people who need us are in Avon, about 8 minutes from the village, or in Vail Village, about 20 minutes. Eagle County Airport is about half an hour. Our Mercedes Sprinter vans carry 14 and our SUVs take smaller parties; everything is all wheel drive and private to your group.
Timing is the only tricky part. The resort shuttle leaves on its schedule, not ours, so we aim to land guests at the load point 10 to 15 minutes ahead of it. Your planner tells us where the resort is loading and when, and we also need the time the last mountain shuttle comes back down, because that is when our vans need to be standing at the same spot.
Gate, chapel and Wedding Deck
Beaver Creek Village is behind a guarded gate on Village Road, and our vans go through it on the wedding name and a guest name the planner has given the gatehouse. That stop is short once the paperwork is in. A ceremony at Beaver Creek Chapel on Elk Track Road is inside the same gate, close to the hotels, and the resort's shuttle collects the group from the village afterward. If you upgrade the ceremony to the Beaver Creek Wedding Deck, the resort's gondola carries that leg too, and only our drop time moves.
Season is May to October. Summer afternoons in the mountains bring storms, so we leave slack in the return rather than booking a single pickup minute.
Tell us the hotels and the resort's shuttle times and we will fit our runs around them. You are welcome to request an event quote, and our wedding transportation page covers the rest of the weekend. Flying guests usually come in via Denver Airport to Beaver Creek.
